540 Industrial Oxygen Tanks
Industrial tanks are rated for 99.9% oxygen and have lesser regulation. Before being filled, they are emptied with vacuum suction once. Often, these tanks will have a more rugged exterior due to more harsh work environments. No prescription is required for an industrial oxygen tank and anybody can go in to purchase one.
Choosing One
Both oxygen tanks are filled from the same source, liquid oxygen. Most people choose to get the 540 industrial oxygen tank because they are easier to purchase. If you are able to get a prescription, you can get the 870 oxygen tank.
